About the Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll act as a key safety partner across multiple sites, ensuring systems, processes, and behaviours align with best practice and legislative requirements.
This is an on-site role, embedded in operations, where your visibility and engagement will be critical to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate WHS training, including legislation, hazard management, and safe equipment use
- Ensure compliance with federal and state safety legislation and internal standards
- Maintain accurate safety records and reporting systems
- Conduct audits, investigations, and hazard identification activities
- Analyse safety data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Partner with site teams to develop and implement practical safety solutions
- Support workers compensation processes, including claims management and return-to-work coordination
- Lead rehabilitation and return-to-work programs in collaboration with stakeholders
- Drive system and process standardisation across sites
- Contribute to national safety initiatives and share best practices
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a similar safety role, ideally within the construction or manufacturing industry
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (tertiary qualifications or equivalent highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of developing and implementing safety plans, programs, processes, and systems to minimise risk
- Proven experience conducting audits and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Confidence to engage, influence, and coach leaders at all levels
- A professional, positive, and approachable demeanour
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to drive positive results through consultation and collaboration with employees
- Demonstrated leadership through positive safety behaviours and leading by example
- Experience mentoring or supporting team members
- Knowledge of ICAM or equivalent incident investigation methodologies
- Commitment to collaboration, continuous improvement, and building strong team culture

Location & Travel
