<p> Safety Australia Group is proud to be exclusively partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a <strong>Senior WHS Advisor</strong>.</p>
<p> This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation that is an employer of choice. You will be working with a  passionate and supportive team committed to building a strong, proactive safety culture across a diverse and high-risk operational environment.</p>
<p> This is a Monday–Friday full time role based on site, with flexibility in work hours and hybrid arrangements. Some intrastate travel will be required.</p>
<p> <strong>About the Role<br /></strong><br /> As a Senior WHS Advisor, you will play a key role in influencing, leading, and guiding safety performance across a complex and dynamic organisation. You’ll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders – from operational teams to technical specialists and leadership – to ensure best-practice safety standards are embedded across all areas.<br /> You will lead strategic safety initiatives, mentor team members, and contribute to shaping a positive and sustainable safety culture.</p>
<p> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Partner with teams to develop and implement effective safety protocols aligned to operational risk profiles</li>
<li>Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to manage short, medium, and long-term WHS risks and opportunities</li>
<li>Analyse WHS data to identify trends and emerging risks, providing proactive recommendations</li>
<li>Conduct audits and operational reviews, driving continuous improvement initiatives</li>
<li>Coach and influence leaders to strengthen safety capability and accountability</li>
<li>Provide guidance, supervision, and mentoring to WHS Advisors</li>
<li>Support WHS program delivery across multiple sites, including periodic travel</li>
<li>Design and deliver targeted WHS training programs</li>
</ul>
<p> <strong>About You</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>5+ years’ experience in a WHS role, with a strong focus on risk management</li>
<li>Relevant WHS qualifications highly regarded</li>
<li>Proven experience conducting audits and implementing continuous improvement initiatives</li>
<li>Proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities</li>
<li>Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Experience mentoring or supervising team members</li>
<li>Senior First Aid certification</li>
<li>Valid NSW Driver’s Licence</li>
<li>Current NSW Working with Children Check</li>
</ul>
