Aim of Sessions
The Occupational Noise Hazard Awareness training aims to familiarise participants with the effects that excessive noise can have on our hearing and how important appropriate hearing protection is in the workplace. The training is facilitated by a University Qualified Clinical and Industrial Audiologist who will also provide a practical session on how to correctly fit hearing protection.

Session Presentation
► The ear and how we hear.
► How noise damages our hearing.
► How much noise is too much?
► Effects of hearing loss.
► How to protect ourselves from hazardous noise.
► An open forum of question and answer time will conclude the session.
Who Should Attend
This training is designed for Industrial personnel and Health & Safety Officers. It is not limited to just factory workers and should also be considered by any staff on a site that may be exposed to industrial noise, such as Administration, HR, Management etc.
Benefits
The training will give participants a greater knowledge of Occupational Noise Hazards and arm them with appropriate solutions to protect them from potentially damaging exposure to hazardous noise, which can lead to either temporary or permanent loss of hearing.
Each session is facilitated by a University Qualified Clinical & Industrial Audiologist and will run for approximately 20 minutes.
